This time, Overvjabbit presents avdiovisual project Torture Garden, an interpretation of the work Les Jardin des Supplices from the french writer Octave Mirbeau (1848-1917) through sound and light experimentation. The project has been developped in the years 2016-2018 and this year we are expecting a release in cassette-box format. The release will inaugurate their new music publisher and they are also planing a 4XLP-box re-issued release.
Overvjabbit are Neven M. Amalga and Domen Učakar from Hrastnik, Slovenia. They are masters of noise sound explorations and are active in various music casts. They are known for their electroacustic sound practices in Slovenia as well as abroad. Overvjabbit’s soud span is wide and goes from shocking noise to drone and psychedelic melodies.Visual part of a project Torture Garden belongs to Neven Korda, who is one of the pioneers of Slovenian audio-visual sceene. As a special guest, vocalist Aphra Tesla appears in the project.
