Colin Benders is a Dutch producer with an affinity towards “impossible projects”. This has seen him wear many hats, but most recently a live electronic dance project done entirely with modular synthesizers. Colin is currently working on a highly anticipated EP that will showcase an array of most loved “jams”.
This artist made his debut under the name Kyteman, producing a hip hop album named “The Hermit Sessions” released in 2009. In this same period Colin started The Kyteman Orchestra, a live spectacle with sometimes as many as 80 people on stage. Their latest project, The Jam Sessions, revolved around the concept of improvising entire shows from beginning to end. Together they developed a sign language that allowed them to write music live on stage.Colin Benders is also the founder of studio complex Kytopia, which he runs with his father Erik Benders. With 25 music studios and 80 people at work on a daily basis, Kytopia is an important part of the Dutch music scene.
