OHOLO (Slo)

Oholo are one of the rare bands in Slovenia and elsewhere that can easily blend various forms of jazz and african music and turn it into the abstract sounds of free improvised music without loosing the groove. It is a energetic fire power of free jazz.
It consists of younger generation of free players that are at the core of contemporary movements in the field of jazz music in Slovenia coming from jazz, free jazz, free folk, jazzcore and hardcore, noise rock and free improvised music. Their music is a knowledgeable and serious affair, taking cues from history but turning them into contemporary sound and at the same time a lot of fun.
