In Vienna, the established and working Quartet Month Of Sundays belongs to the top of the current Austrian new jazz. He warned us in 2015 with the debut for the Austrian label Wire Globe Recordings and a breakthrough concert at the Jazz Fest of Wien. In 2017, he was ranked among 25 young performers of the sixth edition of The New Austrian Sound of Music, supported by the Austrian Foreign Ministry in the years 2018 and 2019 for international recognition. During May and August she performs at numerous European jazz festivals in Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Austria, the Netherlands, Poland and also in Slovenia, more specifically Sajeta.
Quartet Month Of Sundays, composed by trumpeter Alexander Kranabetter, alt saxophonist Philipp Harnisch, guitarist Ivo Fina and drummer Johannes Walkobinger, has been focusing on the creation and implementation of contemporary chamber music since the beginning of the joint play. In-depth, carefully and thoughtfully arranged instrumental compositions harmonize breathing and organically open sound landscapes. Music Of The Month Of Sundays is full of shades of jazz, ambient music, and blossom, which flow freely and blend into the bright and sublime sound of contemplative music.
