Animation is a movement of motionless things which we bring to life with our fingers. The movement itself tells us a lot about a certain character, such as a stone rolling slowly can be tired, a fast shell training for a marathon, etc. At the workshop we will talk about the basics of animation and film language, storytelling through movement and the production of a short animated film with the help of the Stop Motion program Dragonframe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3-day workshop for children and adolescents<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 1 presentation of the technique with the help of a short task. The composition and structure of the story.  Making storyboard and preparing for recording<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 2 animation and realization of the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 3 projection with a short speech (conversation with authors).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop will be led by Tja\u0161a Tomc from DZMP Kr\u0161ko (Luksuzna produkcija). For years, Luksuzna produkcija has organised various film workshops for children and adolescents, taking the form of practical work under the mentorship of an international team of filmmakers and creators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
