YOUTH FILM SCHOOL // Luksuz Produkcija

In collaboration with Luksuz Production – DZMP from Krško, we will organize a four-day workshop on narrative film. The workshop is intended for young people aged 12 to 29, who will, in small groups, develop an idea for a film, assign roles (acting, directing, cinematography, sound recording, editing, etc.), and shoot a short narrative film.

The program includes the following chapters:

1. From idea to synopsis and preparation for shooting.

2. Basics of film language. What is a shot, film space and time, angles, camera movements, sound, etc.?

3. Shooting with a video camera (shots, composition, lighting, camera movement, etc.) and getting to know other equipment necessary for shooting.

4. Introduction to editing programs and editing footage into a finished product – a film.

5. Distribution and evening screening of the film (different formats, online video distribution, etc.).

The workshop is an excellent opportunity for all young film enthusiasts to try out various film roles and gain practical experience in the field of filmmaking. Participants will work in a dynamic and creative environment, where they will be encouraged to express their ideas and collaborate with their peers. The final product will be a short narrative film created entirely by themselves, from the initial concept to the final edit. Do not miss this exceptional opportunity for creative expression and learning about the world of film!

Applications for the Film School are being collected, and they are mandatory for organization purposes. Please apply via the Google form here: https://forms.gle/7W3kXXi64w7CasjLA. We are collecting applications until June 30th. The number of participants is limited. The workshop is free of charge.
