At the video design workshop, you will get acquainted with methods of video manipulation in real time with the use of analogue techniques of video mix, use of cameras in video mix and generic use of various computer tools (software).
Starting with the history of the visual arts, through the classics in the field of video creation all the way to the modern practices and creative coding in a live interpretation of the image, we will learn the basics of VJ-ing with trends in video mapping, MIDI and OSC controls and the implementation of a laser, LED strips and lighting to the visual performance. The practical part of the workshop will include work on analogue video mixers as well as software-controlling of lasers, lights and video projections.

Mentor – Incredible Bob is a video artist from Belgrade, Serbia, who is present at the international scene for more than 15 years. As a VJ he has worked with a large number of musicians (Laurent Garnier, Rodhad, Tiga, Miss Kittin, Artan Lili …) and on various projects in theatre, circus, film and television. He has performed in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and throughout Europe. For several years in a row now, he also designs the Sajeta stage light and visual scenography.
