RED SNAPPER (Gbr)

Before London glimpsed the futurism of jazz as popular culture with the contemporary new jazz scene, the British trio Red Snapper led the genre into the future already in the 90s. Pioneers of the synthesis of acoustic instruments and electronic textures that earned them a home on Warp Records, the trio stands for a unique blend of live, euphoric Afro-Jazz, Future Funk, Dub, Dark Hip-Hop and fragile soundscapes. In 2023, they released a new album ‘Live at The Moth Club’, a collection of new pieces and outstanding discography works, which will be presented live at the festival.
