Musical beginnings of the avant-garde songwriter Andrew Fon are closely linked to the Sežana opposition audio front, which gave birth to many underground ad hoc groups and musicians. A wide range of different music and concert environment gave Fon multi – instrumental skills and effortless surpassment of genre and other sonic boundaries. Self-taught musician is operating under many improvisational and experimental ensembles, thereby gaining an increasing aknowledgement. Last year released solo album “Hupam, da ste dobro” continues the musical and verbal deviations recorded at the debut “Omahuj!”. Although the songs follow the form and the word, Fon’s alter ego Olfamož uses momentary inspiration and makes his performances a soothing escape from noise-timed everyday life.
