IVO PODERŽAJ (Slo)

Ivo Poderžaj has played guitar in a hard-core bend Vi7K in the late ’80s. He founded provocative alter-rock bend Žoambo Žoet Workestrao, which has released 6 albums and has circled between Sofia and London for 24 years. He has worked with several artists: Franci Blašković in Fonja Big Band, Ljubljana improvisation club members, Wuollahee (free punk, CRO), Andrej Fon (Hupam, da ste dobro (ZARŠ, 2015)), Olfamoštvo. He studied free music at the workshops of John Edwards, Tomaž Grom, Seijir Murajama, and Tristan Honsinger. He is a teacher and translator, a former journalist at Radio Študent, and a culture-political worker in the Slovene club scene.
