DUŠAN GERLICA – sculptor (Slo)

Dušan Gerlica was born in Ljubljana and now lives and works in Gornja Trebuša in the Tolmin region. After achieving his degree in journalism, his main medium of expression was photojournalism. His excellent photos were regularly published in the Slovenian progressive press such as Tribuna or Mladina.

As a self-made man he was also developing his expression in sculpture all along. He was always especially fascinated by wood. Several years ago, he decided to retreat far away from urban noise in solitude and silence, which gives his works an ineffaceable character.
