Gloria Gammer is a Berlin-based Austrian artist and filmmaker. Her work examines digital phenomena in combination with the relation of humans to their bodies, other humans, their environment, and technology itself. She tells stories in different media and is interested in the impact and role of storytelling itself – how storytelling unites and separates. It creates identity, reality, and illusion.
Her work has been shown internationally at film and media art festivals and institutions. Her last work WHEN THE WORLD COMES TO AN END, I WILL HAVE LOVED YOU won the 1st Prize for an Experimental Film at Oscar-qualifying Athens Int. Film + Video Festival in the US and the Sonja Savić Award at Alternative Film/Video Belgrade Serbia.
At Sajeta, we will screen a selection of her short films.
Gloria Gammer is coming to Sajeta with the support of the Austrian Cultural Forum.
